The C*Base NITTY GRITTY:
These posts were saved to the system in "chunks" of five. (This saved
some space on the drives of the BBS.) I have divided each "chunk"
with a line showing the "post numbers" for the following "chunk".
Within the C*Base software, there was code to embed "header"
information into a graphically pleasing layout, which is nearly
impossible for me to reproduce. Therefore, the information is
simply presented in it's "raw" format, as follows:

The MOVIES were a tad-bit gruesome tho....if for a GP audiance.... DC-9 is not bad either....BG&G rating is as low as Robo Cop....just lots of yelling and sparks shooting outa panels ( like Sea View sub did)‚ as far as BG&G goes....maybe the hair rasing make-up dept work on the 3-4 ALIENS might make ya worry‚ but... Keep in mind now...seberal not-yet resolved things there: Whosis has a 'hole in his mind' which terrifys that lady with the shiny head and is stuff for others to taunt the guy with(ha ha you got a hole in yer mind!) Im glad about that‚ I am taking quite a liking to Babylon 5. there seems to be more realism in it than in Star trek in the use of other races and cultures...there is more dissent between worlds‚ and even disagreement between nations back on earth about what space force should be. thus it is an excelent reflection of the current state of affairs here. divisions within factions within nations. that is an exquisite environment in which to examine the development of the human race‚ because it will always be the reality in which things occur. (unless the borg DO get us and we all get our minds mushed into one) It produces the facts that star trek promisses in the priority of individuality‚ and fails to offer. Sory to pick on our show‚ Willie‚ but it is the ONE thing that STTNG fails to deliver. next up on the soap box... DREIS THE MAGNIFICENT MAGISTER OF THE REALM Don't forget 12 Lessa 7/24/94 MOVING THROUGH TIME 9:19 am Star Trek and the others take place AFTER Earth has had a nuclear war and part of the land is still unusable. That's why the Russians went to the moon. The western part of Russia got creamed and the rest glowed. And most of the rest of the world too. The survivors had to meld together to get things running again and put us into space where we blelonged. Lessa yes that is true 43 Dreis 7/25/94 in the can 5:16 pm but in Bab5 there is still a disparite world‚ and the countries are still somewhat autonomous‚ though there is a much stronger UN. that seems to be the way things are going...I dont believe there will be a nuke occurence. there will still be divisions within factions within nations... that is the order that has been set‚ and it will NOT be by mans hand that it changes... Lessa ST‚STNG vs B-5 7 WyreBall 7/30/94 No place special 12:02 am Bab 5 being made AFTER ST STNG‚ is probably tailored to try n echo what many oin the world whould sorta expaect...rather than a pure all sci-fi no-real show (which has its own merits‚ like ROBO-COP as compared to DRAGNET‚ 1950's version) Star Trek (both) were made as SCI FI while Bab 5 may be trying to mimic the real world as we currently are in right now...only the palces and people are changed.
